National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Physiotherapy and Exercise Physiology at Bodyfix: Empowering Independence and Well-being Through Tailored Support

At Bodyfix, we are proud to be an NDIS Registered Provider.

Our Physiotherapists and Exercise Physiologists have met the rigorous standards of the NDIS audit and are dedicated to helping clients achieve their goals—whether it's managing pain, improving function, gaining independence, or enhancing quality of life. We personalise our services to meet each client’s unique needs, empowering them to engage fully in the activities they value most.

About the NDIS

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) supports Australians with disabilities to access services that improve daily living and build independence. As an NDIS Registered Provider, Bodyfix Physiotherapy adheres to the highest standards set by the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission, ensuring quality and compliance in all our services. Our team simplifies the NDIS process for clients, answering questions and supporting each step of their journey.

  • Initial Contact: The client or Service Coordinator reaches out to Bodyfix to express interest in our services.

  • Information Gathering: We collect necessary details, including a copy of the client’s NDIS plan (directly from self-managed or portal based clients or from the Service Coordinator for plan-managed clients).

  • Initial Consultation: The client schedules a 1-hour consultation with a Physiotherapist or Exercise Physiologist to discuss medical history, goals, and baseline measures such as mobility, strength, and pain level. The frequency and duration of sessions are also determined during this session.

  • Service Agreement: Based on the initial consultation, a tailored service agreement is created and sent to both the client and Service Coordinator.

  • Ongoing Appointments: Our team schedules consistent appointments that align with the client’s lifestyle and service agreement.

  • Agreement Approval: The client signs and returns the service agreement, either before or at their next appointment.

NDIS Physiotherapy and Exercise Physiology fees are regulated by the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) to ensure consistency and value. The NDIA publishes a regularly updated document, the NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits, which outlines the costs for various supports.

Our fees align with the latest NDIA pricing structures, with variations for locations from remote (MMM6) and very remote (MMM7) areas. For specific fee details, please contact Bodyfix directly.

The fees for Physiotherapy and Exercise Physiology consults are covered by the funding allocated in the client’s NDIS plan under the Improved Daily Living category of the Capacity Building budget. This funding supports services deemed "reasonable and necessary" to each participant’s disability and goals.

At Bodyfix, we’re here to ensure that our clients make the most of their NDIS funding, with high-quality, individualised care to help them reach their fullest potential.

Ongoing Assessment and Review

We reassess each client’s progress two months prior to their NDIS plan review. During this reassessment, baseline measures are updated, and recommendations from the treating practitioner are adjusted as needed. This comprehensive report is then shared with the Service Coordinator (or directly with the client if self-managed) to determine the continuation, frequency, and duration of future sessions.

Wheelchair Accessibility & Home Visits

All Bodyfix locations are wheelchair accessible. We also offer home visits upon request for clients who may need additional support in their own environment.

If you’re an NDIS client and unsure whether our services are right for you, please reach out—we’d be happy to discuss your options. We currently have the capacity to take on new clients and are here to help you on your journey to improved health and independence.
